The Fiddle Race has been a tradition at the Violin School for over 30 years. Students from foundation level to third year students join together and compete to produce a stringed instrument within the allotted time and to a selected theme.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Fiddle Race has sadly been unable to go ahead - until now.

The theme for 2023 is ‘FARANDOLE OF VIOLAS’. This will see learners experimenting with new materials, as well as exploring different design concepts.

The competition will start on the 13th December and concludes on the 15th December with a ceremony to crown the winners.
