Musical Instrument Craft Violin Making and Repair teacher, John Wright, performed at the Coronation Concert on Sunday night.

On 7 May 2023, a unique Coronation Concert took place at Windsor Castle to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort. The Coronation Concert brought music icons and contemporary stars together in celebration of this historic occasion.

Musical Instrument Craft Violin Making and Repair Teacher, John, said: "As a former member of the Countess of Wessex’s String orchestra, I was kindly asked back in my part-time role as a reserve military musician, to take part in the Coronation Concert.

"It was definitely a treat to play alongside super stars like Lionel Richie and Lang Lang for the evening.

"An unforgettable experience for sure. I also enjoyed being able to tie my old and new jobs together by playing on one of my early instruments that I completed whilst still a student at the Violin School myself."
